DVD Authoring & Multimedia Stuff

I can take your old VHS, convert it to digital and create a customized DVD, complete with:

• chapter markers
• slideshows
• graphics
• titles
• all the extraneous (or duplicated) footage edited out
• a soundtrack or voice over

For instance, you have two old VHS video tapes of your wedding, one taken by your father's stationery video camera at the back of the auditorium, and another taken by the jiggling hands of your cousin-in-law who walked all around the auditorium getting different angles with different amounts of shaking involved. You haven't watched the videos for years, because the parts of the ceremony or reception that are most interesting are just not very accessible. You also have a shoebox of old wedding photographs, and perhaps a photo album of the good ones. And then you have a cassette tape of a song that your musically inclined brother wrote and performed at the ceremony. All of these different parts can be combined into one, cohesive, beautiful DVD that will last for many more decades, long after your video tapes and photographs have deteriorated. I can splice the two VHS recordings into one smooth recording, getting rid of duplicate footage, switching between the two to get the most bang. The ceremony can be split up into multiple chapters, so that you can find whatever you're looking for - the wedding kiss, for instance - quickly. And all the photos can be sprinkled throughout the video footage, creating a bit of a montage, and/or put into a separate slideshow, complete with a musical score from your brother's cassette recording. All this can be packaged together with beautiful, interactive menus and then put onto a DVD. I can also create artwork to be printed directly onto the DVD identifying the disc as your wedding DVD, as well as an insert in the DVD case so that the whole package is professional and beautiful.
